11 inches x 14 inches
This work was created with Copic markers, watercolor (and gouache) and Copic ink pens. For the grime and spray, the artist used ink on a brush and physically blew on it to project it to the surface of the paper, which is hotpress watercolor paper.
Joshua Burd does some crazy, out there, beautifully ridiculous illustrations. His cup of tea in particular is capturing the colorfully dark inner workings of every face that he paints. Each portrait is a portrayal of his subconscious, captured through markers and watercolor. He resides in Portland, Oregon, and create on the daily.
