This class comprises ~12 hours of HD video instruction with eight full-length portrait tutorials and inspiring reference photos.

Lesson 1: Drawing an Infant in Graphite Pencil (61 mins) 

Learn or improve on the basics of drawing a head: ball-and-jaw technique, sketching lightly, etc. Draw an infant subject, focusing on how the proportions and texture of skin differ from an adult subject.

Lesson 2: Drawing a Toddler in Mechanical Pencil (108 mins)

In this lesson, you'll practice drawing teeth, rendering hair, and capturing the light on the face while drawing a toddler subject.

David is an illustrator and art instructor in the Bay Area, California. He has taught art for 15+ years to students of all ages, including serving as an art mentor to clients at Pixar, Disney and SF Film.
