Contour Hatching with Mike Creighton

$ 30.00 USD

Bring your portraits to life with contour hatching.

In this class, you'll learn this essential technique for creating volume and light while creating four portraits in four different mediums – graphite, ink + watercolor, colored pencil, gouache – with Portland-based portrait artist Mike Creighton.

  • 4 pre-recorded video lessons (~120 minutes each)
  • 4 live-video Q&As (~60 minutes each)
  • Lifetime access to all class content in Sktchy Art School
  • Lesson 1 comes out Monday, August 31 – see full schedule below

In the lessons, Mike will give in-depth demonstrations on how he uses contour hatching to create dimension in four different mediums: graphite, ink + watercolor, colored pencil and gouache. (Portraits in class may differ from the specific portraits pictured here.)
